Privacy Policy
Effective August 27, 2026 · Applies to steadicarehomecare.com
Who we are
This website, steadicarehomecare.com, is operated by SteadiCare Home Care, LLC, a non-medical home care company at 1303 Montague Ave Ext, Greenwood, SC 29649. You can reach us at (864) 686-5491 or info@steadicarehomecare.com.
What this policy covers
This policy describes what happens with information when you use this website, submit one of our forms, or communicate with us by phone, text message, or email. It is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, and it does not govern the care relationship itself: information our clients share with us in the course of receiving care is handled under our client agreements and applicable law.
Information you give us
When you submit a request through this site, call us, or email us, we receive what you choose to share. Depending on the form, that includes your name, phone number, email address, service-area ZIP code, who needs care, scheduling preferences, how you heard about us, the content of your message — and a record of the consents you give us. We use this information to respond to you, answer your questions, schedule visits, and, if you choose to move forward, plan care.
Calls, texts, and email — your consents
We contact you about your inquiry by phone or email. Text messaging and marketing are strictly consent-based, with separate consents you can give — or not give — on our forms:
- Conversational and informational text messages — with your consent, we send SMS messages from (864) 686-5491 about your inquiry, care coordination, and appointments or scheduling. That is our whole text program: we do not send marketing or promotional text campaigns.
- Marketing email — sent only if you opt in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing or receiving any service. Messaging frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of texts, reply HELP for help — or simply contact us and we will update your preferences.
We do not disclose mobile opt-in data or SMS consent to third parties for those third parties’ own marketing purposes. The complete program terms live in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
What we collect automatically
Like every website, our server keeps standard request logs — the IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps of each visit — used for security and to keep the site running. The site itself sets two essential cookies:
- A session cookie (steadicare-home-care-session) — lets the site function across page views. Expires after about two hours.
- A security token (XSRF-TOKEN) — protects against forged requests. Expires after about two hours.
The analytics and advertising technologies described next set their own cookies and similar identifiers (pixels, tags) governed by their providers’ policies.
Analytics we use
We use two analytics services to understand, in aggregate, how people use this site — which pages help, where visitors get stuck, what to improve:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — collects usage information such as pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address, using its own cookies. See Google’s privacy policy and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity — records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, and session replays that reconstruct the visit) so we can see where the site confuses people. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.
We look at this data in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you by name, and we do not combine it with what you tell us when you call, text, or email.
Advertising measurement and remarketing
We advertise SteadiCare on Google, Facebook, and Microsoft’s networks, and we use their standard tags to measure whether those ads work:
- Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags — how Google uses advertising data, and your controls at Google Ads Settings.
- The Meta (Facebook) pixel — Meta’s privacy policy; ad controls live in your Facebook settings under ad preferences.
- Microsoft Advertising’s UET tag — Microsoft’s privacy statement and Microsoft ad settings.
Because of these tags, you may later see our ads on those platforms after visiting this site (remarketing), and the platforms receive site-visit signals governed by their own policies. You can opt out of interest-based advertising across many companies at once through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info, and through your browser’s cookie controls.
We also use Bing Webmaster Tools, which reports how our site appears in Bing search results. It reads search data on Microsoft’s side and places nothing on your device.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you ask about.
- To coordinate care, scheduling, and appointments.
- To send the communications you have consented to — and no others.
- To improve this site and measure our advertising.
- To protect against fraud and misuse, and to keep the site secure.
- To meet our legal, licensing, and record-keeping obligations.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for the information we hold, and this site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we take the responsibility seriously.
How long we keep information
We keep information as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here — responding to you, providing care, meeting legal, licensing, and record-keeping requirements — and afterward it is deleted, anonymized, or de-identified.
Children
This site is written for adults arranging care. It is not directed to children under 13, we do not knowingly collect personal information from them, and if we learn we have, we delete it.
Your choices and questions
You can reply STOP to end text messages, unsubscribe from any marketing email with one click, restrict cookies in your browser, and use the analytics and advertising opt-outs linked above. You can also contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, to withdraw a consent, or to ask us to delete information where the law allows. We answer privacy questions the same way we answer everything else — directly.
