Accessibility Statement

Effective August 27, 2026 · Applies to steadicarehomecare.com

Our commitment

This site exists for older adults and the families who care about them — people who may browse with a screen reader, magnification, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or hands that are not as steady as they used to be. Accessibility is not a compliance checkbox for us; it is part of serving the exact people this company exists to serve. SteadiCare Home Care, LLC is committed to keeping steadicarehomecare.com usable for everyone.

The standard we aim for

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely recognized standard for web accessibility — and we treat it as a floor, not a ceiling.

What this site does

  • Works with a keyboard alone — including menus and dialogs, which manage focus properly and close with the Escape key.
  • A skip-to-content link for screen reader and keyboard users.
  • Semantic structure — real headings, landmarks, and labels that assistive technology can navigate.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
  • High color contrast throughout, designed for aging eyes and low vision.
  • Respect for reduced-motion settings — animations switch off when your device asks.
  • Every essential fact in real, server-rendered text — nothing important is locked behind hover, script, or interaction.
  • Large touch targets and text that scales with your settings.

Honest limitations

No website is perfect for every person and every device, and we will not pretend otherwise. Content we link to on other sites — maps, social platforms, the government sources cited in our guides — is outside our control and may not meet our standards. We review our own pages as the site grows.

If something doesn't work for you

Tell us, and we will fix what we can and help you directly in the meantime — everything on this website is also available by phone. Call us and a real person will walk you through anything a page was supposed to tell you.

When you report an accessibility barrier, we take it seriously and respond. It helps to tell us the page you were on and what got in the way.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is reviewed as this site grows — new pages are built to the same standard, and this statement is updated with the date above when our practices change.
